In 1963, Chef Andre of Andre's of Beverly Hills opened Andre's of Town and Country with two thoughts in mind- a family restaurant with the same quality of food as his Beverly Hills location that gave a European flair to the Italian American restaurants of that day.
Mr. Andre came to the United States in 1948 after training at the Cordon Bleu in Paris. He and his wife Angie, opened their first restaurant in Great Neck, NY before heading west to open Andre's of Beverly Hills in 1959. It was a great success within the Beverly Hills community and beyond. After its success he decided to open Andre's of Town and Country for the everyday meal.
People continue to flock from all over Los Angeles and the surrounding areas for the huge portions and comfort food. His nephew Michael, ran the restaurant until 2008 and now his grand-niece Stephanie is at the helm. She is committed to keeping the staples of fine food at a fair price.
