Celebrating Authentic Italian Tradition Since 1963
How Andre's Began in 1963
Our story started in 1963 when Chef Andre opened Andre's of Town and Country. After the success of his Beverly Hills restaurant, he wanted to create a family restaurant where everyone could enjoy the same high-quality meals at fair prices. He believed that great food should be part of everyday life, not just special occasions.
From Europe to the United States
Chef Andre trained at the famous Cordon Bleu in Paris before moving to the United States in 1948. He and his wife, Angie, opened their first restaurant in Great Neck, New York, before moving west to California. Their passion for cooking and hospitality helped build a strong reputation that continues today.
Italian American Food with European Influence
At Andre's, we serve classic Italian American cuisine with a touch of European tradition. Our menu features pizzas, spaghetti, red-sauce favorites, and other Italian specialties that have been enjoyed by families for generations. Every meal reflects the values that Chef Andre believed in—quality ingredients, honest cooking, and generous portions.
Our Mission at Andre's
Our mission is to honor Chef Andre's vision by serving authentic Italian American food in a warm and welcoming setting. We believe every guest deserves a great meal, generous portions, and honest value. Whether you are visiting for lunch, dinner, or a family celebration, we look forward to welcoming you to Andre's and sharing our story with you.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
People travel from across Los Angeles and nearby communities because they know they can count on Andre's for filling meals and friendly service. Many guests have been visiting for years, bringing children and grandchildren to share the same family traditions. We are proud to be a place where memories are made around the table.
